Digital is an easier new sort of technique as every photograph that is taken is stored inside the camera but unlike film, it is saved onto an SD card that is an electronic device, which is not placed into a computer and the photographs that were taken by a DSLR camera can be enhanced and modified with various different photo editing software. In the past, practitioners weren't able to just edit with a click of a button, They had to do the process from scratch and develop and improve it in their own studious and creative ways by researching and combining substances in a chemical laboratory.  I think that Digital is a lazy way of the avoidance of learning the traditional way of how the processes and techniques and evolved throughout the photographic history and implying them, ourselves. It would be an experience to look through the techniques and processes, following instructions on how they are made and even add a few improvements that may work in the development of the process. It would be rather like a science lesson in instead of learning photography, as there are chemicals involved. Digital photography has come to an age where everything can be manipulated in any sort of way, but it wouldn't impress those practitioners, who did all the hard work to just invent a technique or a process to improve photography.
